Micah Hutchins was born in Gainesville, Florida on December 1st of 1996. In 2000, he moved with his family to Blue Ridge, Virginia. Micah spent his childhood playing soccer, basketball, building forts in the woods out back, making homemade videos with the family, and home schooling with his other seven siblings. When Micah was fourteen years old, he began writing stories in his spare time. By age seventeen, Micah had completed his first novel, “Invasion: Book One”. Following his first novel, Micah wrote a sequel, “Invasion: Book Two” as well as a book of short stories for his future nieces, nephews, and children. Just after his nineteenth birthday, Micah moved away from his home in Blue Ridge and moved north to Martinsburg, West Virginia. He developed his website shortly after moving and began posted chapters of his new novels and new short stories. On May 7th, 2018, Micah married his wife, Katelyn and in October of 2021, Katelyn gave birth to their first child, a baby girl named Madelyn. In the beginning of 2019, Micah began working on the artwork for his newest series, “The Divide”. After the artwork was finished, Micah began writing. After completing “The Divide”, Micah went on to write “The Divide – Alliance”, “The Divide – Betrayal”, “The Divide – Aftermath”, and “The Divide – Patriots”. Micah also developed a prequel series known as “The Courier” which contains three more books in “The Divide” world. Micah plans to write another three book prequel series known as “The Ranger”, as well as a stand alone book known as “The Journal”, all set in “The Divide” world. In the summer of 2022, Micah and his family moved to Knoxville, Tennessee where he continues to write. He has several other novel ideas that he is constantly developing and plans to publish one day. Micah enjoys his job, spending time with his friends and family, and writing new stories.
