The Ranger
The United States, as they knew it, was coming to an end. After a series of unconstitutional overreaches by the federal government, the people of Texas decide to secede and form a country of their own: The New Texas Republic. Flying under the Texas state flag, the NTR stands against the United States government as war breaks out. Newly elected NTR president, Brian Felix, holds the fate of his beloved state in the balance as he tries to do right by his people and avoid bloodshed. Meanwhile, Mexico anxiously awaits the right moment to take advantage of the secession as the United States government lines the Texas border. The NTR president knows that he must act fast and seeks to form a group of highly trained soldiers to send out at a moment’s notice. Ex-Navy Seal, James Hanigan, and ex-Army Ranger, Anthony Blackwell, are named the first NTR Rangers and instructed to form a team. The NTR Rangers quickly grow from two to eight and become the tip of the NTR spear. The NTR Rangers balance their loyalty to Texas while facing the demons of killing American troops. Tensions worsen as the United States government realizes that it’s losing control of its people and takes desperate measures to paint a bullseye on Texas. As warheads are prepared on both sides and gunfire is exchanged at the Texas border, James Hanigan and Anthony Blackwell lead the Texas Rangers into the unknown in a valiant attempt to stop the United States government and keep the country from completely dismantling.
